GET INFORMED offers free one-to-one mentors to help social enterprise and charity board members better understand the opportunities and risks of social investment.
How It Works
Mentoring is peer support in the form of sharing knowledge, skills, experience, opinion, informal advice.

Mentees are matched with a mentor who has a good knowledge of social investment including the risks and opportunities around it. GET INFORMED mentors will also understand the roles and responsibilities of charity trustees and social enterprise boards with regards to finance, investment and associated risks.

GET INFORMED: Social investment for boards is a joint initiative, led by Big Society Capital in partnership with the Charity Commission, Reach Volunteering, Cass Business School, Trustees Unlimited, Association of Chairs and The Honorary Treasurers Forum.
